This is just the beginning of my review. I have not had any work done to my vehicle. I will continue to update this review as the process continues. I brought my car in to be inspected for a possible transmission issue on Thursday 03/26/26 at approx. 10 am. I was told to “give me a couple of hours to get it checked out and I’ll give you a call about next steps” I heard nothing back on that day at all. So I call at approx. 9:30 am Friday morning to check on the status of my vehicle. Again he says “we had a couple people go home yesterday. We are back fully staffed so I should have an answer for you in a couple of hours about next steps” It’s now 5:06 pm and I still haven’t gotten word on my car. They haven’t even LOOKED at my car yet and it’s already been two days. With tomorrow being the start of the weekend I can only hope that they call bright and early Monday morning with an update. So far, I’m not feeling good about this. Update: They ended up calling that Monday and apologizing for the inspection taking awhile. They inspected my car, concluded that I did in fact need my transmission rebuilt. They worked with the insurance company to make sure that I got the most covered through my insurance. The owner called me personally and said he would fight for me and he did. When it came to cost, my insurance covered most of it but I did still have to pay a pretty penny (transmission work is expensive so I figured I’d have to pay something) he quoted me $130 less than what it actually came out to for my portion but since he already told me the amount he honored it. I love that. People that stick to what they say. It was one little hiccup. When I got my car back, the wipers were hella weird, I went to clean my windshield and the wipers almost came off the glass when I activated the wiper fluid. I called and said hey did you guys mess with the wipers? At first he said no, then double checked with his mechanic who confirmed that the windshield wipers had been disturbed during the transmission repair. I took it back immediately and had to wait an hour for them to refix something. I can’t lie that made me feel a little uneasy about the repair. It seems to be running okay but I’m still not convinced, that’s why I gave 4 stars outta 5.
